Douglas Burtnick, CFA


Douglas has thirty years of experience analyzing markets, researching companies and building risk managed portfolios for institutional, mutual fund and family clients. As deputy head of NA Equities at Aberdeen Asset Management he oversaw roughly $5 billion of equity strategies across market cap ranges and a team of fourteen investors. He previously served in senior portfolio management and risk management roles at Gartmore Global Investments and Brown Brothers Harriman. He earned a BS from Cornell University’s Dyson School of Management and is a CFA Charterholder.

Raymond Mullaney


Raymond has nearly forty years of experience delivering investment advice and managing client portfolios. He’s served on Presidential Business Counsels and been frequently quoted in the media on topics ranging from forensic accounting to market safety. Ray founded Equity Risk Sciences, quantitative firm that is Nightingale’s key external research partner. He holds a masters degree from SUNY Stonybrook where he earned the Most Distinguished Alumni award.

Peter Walsh


Peter has thirty years of financial market research and equity trading experience. He helps manage client portfolios, research investments and manage client relationships for Nightingale. He traded European and Asian stocks at Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Company in Boston traded equities for a variety of hedge fund and long only strategies at Voya Investment Management in NY. Pete is earned a BS in finance from Bentley College, is a member of the National Organization of Investment Professionals and earned a certificate in Weather Forecasting from Penn State.

Thomas Harpin


Thomas has experience managing operations and client service for Nightingale. He is also a research and data analyst for Equity Risk Sciences where he built and programmed many of the key models which are part of Nightingale’s research process. Tom earned a BS in actuarial mathematics from Bryant University.
