Douglas Burtnick, CFA

Partner

Douglas Burtnick serves as the CIO of Nightingale and has thirty years of experience analyzing markets, researching companies and building risk managed portfolios for institutional, mutual fund, and family clients.

Prior to Nightingale, Doug was deputy head of NA Equities at Aberdeen Asset Management and served in senior portfolio management roles at Gartmore Global Investments and Brown Brothers Harriman.

Doug earned his BS from Cornell University’s Dyson School of Management and is a CFA Charterholder.

Raymond Mullaney

Partner

Raymond Mullaney serves as the Head of Third Party Relationships at Nightingale and has over forty years of experience delivering investment advice and managing client portfolios.

Prior to joining Nightingale, Ray served on numerous Presidential Business Counsels and has been featured in the media on topics ranging from forensic accounting to market safety. Ray founded Equity Risk Sciences, the quantitative research firm that is Nightingale’s key external research partner.

Ray holds a master’s degree from SUNY Stonybrook where he earned the Most Distinguished Alumni Award

Peter Walsh

Partner

Peter Walsh serves as an analyst and portfolio manager at Nightingale and has thirty years of financial market research and equity trading experience. He helps manage client portfolios, research investments and manage client relationships for Nightingale.

Prior to joining Nightingale, Pete traded equities at Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Company in Boston, and Voya Investment Management in New York.

Pete earned a BS in finance from Bentley College, is a member of the National Organization of Investment Professionals and earned a certificate in Weather Forecasting from Penn State.

Thomas Harpin

Partner

Thomas Harpin serves as Chief Administrative Officer for Nightingale and has several years of experience managing operations and client services.

In addition to his role at Nightingale, Tom also works as a research and data analyst for Equity Risk Sciences. He has built and programmed many of the key models which are part of Nightingale’s research process.

Tom earned a BS in actuarial mathematics from Bryant University.
